1. How much is the application fee?
Answer: $30 per person.
2. How much is the security deposit?
Answer: The deposit is $200.00 per bedroom.
3. What utilities are residents responsible for?
Answer: If you rent by the whole apartment, you are responsible for Gas, Electric, Phone, and cable. Check out our Services Directory.
4. Are we pet friendly?
Answer: YES! Residents are allowed two pets per apartment home with an additional security deposit of $400.00. University Village does have a canine breed restriction list, but does not have a pound limit. Veterinarian canine breed verification is required. Check out our Pet Policy.
5. Do the apartments come with assigned parking?
Answer: Each whole apartment rental is provided up to 2 uncovered spaces, we do offer residents to purchase additional parking spaces based on availability. The carports are under the shade and close to each building. The tandem spots are two spots lined up in front of one another. Our carport parking is $50 extra each month and the uncovered parking is $20.
6. Do we offer short term leases?
Answer: No, we offer only 12 month leases.
7. How many guests are allowed to use the amenities?
Answer: 2 guests per resident are allowed to use our amenities.
8. Does University Village Davis accept packages for their residence?
Answer: Yes we will.
9. Where can residents walk their dog?
Answer: Residents are allowed to walk their dog on any grass area on our property. Many residents enjoy walking their dogs to the nearby dog park located only minutes away from UVD.
10. Does my apartment have a washer and dryer?
Answer: Yes, all apartments are equipped with a stackable washer and dryer that can hold full size loads.
11. Do the apartments come with storage?
Answer: Although we do not offer additional storage outside of your apartment, every apartment comes with ample storage closets.
12. Is the pool heated in the winter time?
Answer: No, but the spa is a great alternative that will defiantly keep you warm.
13. Are there any resident events at UVD?
Answer: UVD hosts many events for our residents. We currently have 1-2 events a month for our residence along with daily events/snacks. Newsletters for the next month are emailed at the end of each current month.
14. How far is UVD from UC Davis?
Answer: We are approximately 1.7 miles from the campus. Many residents utilize the UniTrans "A" busline, ride their bikes or drive the short distance.
15. What amenities does UVD offer?
Answer: All of our amenities are FREE!!! 24hr Fitness center, 24hr Business center, free tanning, billiards, DVD rentals from our 600+ DVD library, daily snacks in the leasing office, resort style pool and spa, and a full sized sand volleyball. All guests must be accompanied by resident at all times.
16. Does UVD rent by the bedroom?
Answer: Yes, only in the 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom floor plan option.
17. Do you provide rental furniture?
Answer: Yes! We’ve partnered with Brook Furniture Rental to provide this for our residents that are interested. Please visit their website at www.bfr.com.
